Graduate Program Financial Aid
Financial support is available to graduate students in the form of teaching and research assistantships, allocated on the basis of promise and performance in the program. In addition, direct fellowship support may also be available to selected candidates. Students who receive a minimum 1/4-time assistantship/fellowship are entitled to a waiver of their educational fees. Applications received by January 1 receive the fullest consideration for financial aid. Late applications will be accepted subject to the availability of openings and funds.
Financial Support for Presentations
The Department provides financial support for student presentations at professional meetings. Students should submit a request for support to the Economics Department as soon as is possible. This facilitates planning on the use of a limited budget. Requests for support should be combined with a request to the Graduate School for travel support to a professional meeting.
