Master's Program

The MA program features a STEM displine. It is designed to provide training in economics beyond the undergraduate level for students seeking careers in business or government, or for students intending to pursue a PhD in economics in the future. Our MA program provides hands on research to develop marketable skills such as programming and problem solving skills. Students can start in either the spring or the fall semester and can finish in 3 semesters. Our program costs less than others with comparable quality. According a recent ranking by collegechoice.net our MA program is #17.

The Department offers five programs in which students can earn an MA degree in economics: MA in economics, dual MA in economics/statistics, dual MA in economics/mathematics, dual MA in economics/ JD degree of Law, and fifth-year program for MU senior undergraduates.
