Gabriel Gassmann selected for Kinder Scholars D.C. Summer Program

Junior Gabriel Gassmann was selected as one of 20 Kinder Scholars, an MU program for undergraduate students that includes a summer internship component in Washington, D.C. Gassmann will spend his summer interning at Bellwether Education Partners, where he’ll research public school teacher pension plans, including how they’re funded and what benefits they provide.

He currently works as a research assistant with associate professor Cory Koedel, who’s studying California teacher pension plans.

Gassmann is pursuing a double major in Economics and Spanish. He said he hopes to continue studying economics in graduate school.
