MU professor speaks on campaign finance law in Washington, D.C.

Professor Jeffrey Milyo spoke Tuesday in the nation’s capital about the impact of the Buckley v. Valeo decision on campaigns and elections.
The event was presented by the Cato Institute and the Center for Competitive Politics.
Milyo was joined by Jay Goodliffe of Brigham Young University and interviewer David Keating of the Center for Competitive Politics. The session was one in the day of programming devoted to First Amendment law and politics.
The event was broadcast on C-SPAN2.
Milyo’s fields of expertise include political economics and law and economics. He is teaching a topics course this semester titled American Political Economy, in addition to Health Economics. Milyo also is the director of undergraduate studies in MU’s Department of Economics.
