Congratulations to Brendan Cirillo, a fourth-year PhD student, on getting an internship with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in the Economic Policy Division. Brendan will serve as a staff economist working on the President’s Budget, supporting OMB’s other departments with research, specifically program design and evaluation, and helping to develop agency capacity to create and use empirical evidence. In doing so, he will function as an economic consultant across various departments, working in a wide range of research areas from labor and health to climate and energy. 

We look forward to the exciting work Brendan will be doing in D.C. over the next year while on leave from the PhD program at Mizzou!!
