Brenda Wyss followed her Mizzou Economics degree with a PhD degree from UMass-Amherst, also in economics.  Her research has explored the economics of families and households, with a particular focus on Jamaica and differences between men and women.  She is currently a full professor at Wheaton College (Mass.).
