After receiving his bachelor's degree from Drury College (now University) in Springfield, MO, Dr. Dan Kuester received his MA and then PhD in Economics from the University of Missouri in 2000. After working at the University of Arkansas for a few years, Dr. Kuester started as a tenure-track professor Kansas State University, where he has won numerous awards for his undergraduate teaching and advising (including as Director of Undergraduate Studies, advisor of the Economics Club, and thesis advisor), including the Roger Trenary Chair for Excellence in Economic Instruction, a Presidential Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Advising, and Commerce Bank and W. T. Kemper Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching, among many others.
