Kadie Clark earned her Bachelors of Science in Economics and a Bachelors of Arts in Geography, with an emphasis in Environmental Geography from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2021. While at Mizzou, Kadie served as a Peer Learning Assistant for Principles of Microeconomics, creating homework and exams and holding office hours for students. She also completed her Honors Thesis, which estimated and forecasted the effect of changing temperatures under a business-as-usual emissions scenario on house market prices in the Intermountain West. Outside of the Economics Department, Kadie was a Site Leader for Mizzou Alternative Breaks, Kinder Institute Summer Scholar, and Vice President of Geography Club, among other things.
Kadie is currently a Senior Investment Associate at Cambridge Associates LLC in Washington, D.C. In this role, she works with large endowments and foundations throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeastern US to manage their investable portfolios and increase alignment with their social and environmental missions. Kadie serves as a Team Lead for the Sustainable and Impact Investing associate team, and focuses her time researching investments into natural capital (agriculture, forestry, land use, carbon markets).
Kadie is committed to environmental stewardship and driven to align financial incentives with conservation at scale. Her research interests include the role of nature-based solutions in the equitable transition to a lower carbon economy, blended financial solutions for conservation, and place-based investing.
