Li Tan (PhD 2018) specialized in applied microeconomics and education research, working with Professor Koedel as his doctoral advisor. Besides winning a department research award and presenting at conferences as a PhD student here, Li worked on research that turned into a solo publication in the Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics as well as a publication with his advisor in the Southern Economic Journal, and other publications that garnered over 100 Google citations within a few years. After a post-doc at Purdue University, Li became a tenure-track assistant professor of Engineering Education and Systems Design at Arizona State University.
