After receiving his bachelor's degree from Duke University in 1967 and his master's from Western Illinois University in 1971, R. Carter Hill received his PhD in Economics from the University of Missouri in 1975. He taught at the University of Georgia for a decade thereafter, and is now an Emeritus Professor of Econometrics, a coauthor of several textbooks and over seventy scholarly papers, and a Senior Co-editor of the research annual Advances in Econometrics (Emerald Press).
