Mizzou Economic Student Organizations presenting at the open house

The Department of Economics welcomed students back to campus with an exciting start to the new semester at its annual Economics Open House. The event provided over 75 students with an opportunity to connect with faculty members, learn about department resources, and explore ways to get involved within the Economics community.

Students had the chance to meet Economics professors in a relaxed setting, ask questions about courses and career paths, and build connections that will support their academic journey. Representatives from several departmental student organizations were also on hand to share information about leadership opportunities, professional development events, networking experiences, and ways students can become more engaged outside the classroom.

In addition to connecting with faculty and organizations, attendees got a first look at the department's new Mizzou Economics merchandise. The new collection features a variety of apparel options, including t-shirts, pullovers, and hoodies, allowing students, alumni, and supporters to show off their Tiger pride and their connection to Mizzou Economics.

Missed the Open House? Don't worry, there is still time to purchase your Mizzou Economics gear. Whether you're looking for a comfortable hoodie for cooler days, a classic t-shirt, or a stylish pullover, the new merchandise line offers something for everyone.
