Four graduating seniors received scholarships to continue their education in the Mizzou Economics MA program.  The Maw Lin Lee Fellowship winners are Abbigayle Mills and Amanda Unverferth; this scholarship honors the memory of Dr. Maw Lin Lee and supports graduate students in applied econometrics.

The Whitney Hicks Fellowship honors the memory of former department chair and Middlebush professor, Dr. Whitney Hicks; this year’s winner is Hayden Black.  Joe Harris received a Kuhlman Fellowship, which honors the legacy of longtime Mizzou professor, Dr.  John Kuhlman.

Congratulations to Joe, Hayden, Abbigayle, and Amanda! And special thanks to the family, friends, and students of Maw Lin Lee, Whitney Hicks, and John Kuhlman; we are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate these beloved teachers who had such an important influence on generations of Mizzou students.
