Dr. Milyo receives grant to study election administration and reform

The Ulysses S. Grant Institute for the Study of Democracy has awarded EPARC Director, Dr. Jeff Milyo, a $150,000 grant to study American election administration and reforms. The proposed research will examine the effects of institutional reforms on voter turnout and public trust and confidence in American elections. Current work in progress with doctoral candidate Brendan Cirillo analyzes the effects of federal oversight of state election administration on racial gaps in voterturnout and the integrity of American elections.
