Economics honors society bowls in new inductees
New Omicron Delta Epsilon inductees bowled with current honors society members and the chapter's faculty adviser on April 19 at Level Up Entertainment.
Members chatted about why they chose economics, pizza hot takes and whether their bowling productivity was increasing or decreasing game to game.
The left lane spent their last round with a new challenge each turn, from bowling with their non-dominant hands to spinning around before aiming their throw.
Between turns, new and old members alike shared their most beloved classes, favorite topics in economics and experiences with undergraduate research.
The event also included pizza and Buck's Ice Cream, courtesy of the Economics Department. Though Tiger Stripe was a respected favorite, Morning Twix added a surprise coffee taste to dessert.
Pizza and bowling now appears to be a mainstay of the department's yearly induction for honors society members. Before goodbyes were said, each student received a certificate and graduating seniors picked up the stoles they will adorn in less than a month's time.
