Mizzou Economics is pleased to announce that Dr. Cory Koedel is part of a team of researchers across the U.S. who were awarded a $10 million grant from the Institute of Education Sciences. The grant will support research on teacher recruitment and retention policies in the United States. As part of the grant, Dr. Koedel and his team will examine several policies in Missouri, including the use of 4-day school weeks by Missouri school districts and a recent policy that will raise minimum teacher pay statewide
