Mizzou Economics is fortunate to employ several remote teaching specialists that offer high quality and convenient online courses. For example, Ms. Allison Brodie teaches multiple 8-week sections of principles of economics year-round:![](/sites/default/files/inline-images/brodie-meet.png)
Allison Brodie holds a Dual MS in economics and finance. With over a decade of teaching experience, she’s passionate about helping students connect the dots between what we learn in the classroom and the real world. Before transitioning to teaching, she worked primarily in banking, with time at the FDIC in Washington, DC and Wells Fargo Advisors in Jackson, WY. Allison loves showing students how economics impacts everything—from Micro concepts like how the businesses we buy from make decisions, to Macro issues like inflation and unemployment. Her mission is to inspire her students to become lifelong learners, curious about how the world works and ready to apply their new economic knowledge in meaningful ways. When she's not teaching Econ 1014 and 1015, she’s either on her yoga mat (she’s also a registered yoga teacher!) or enjoying Wyoming’s great outdoors with her family.
