Mizzou Economics Graduation Sendoff

Commencement Spotlight
MU Economics
Professor Parsons and graduating students stand smiling behind a "University of Missouri" stone sign, with colorful flowers and the historic campus building with columns in the background on a sunny day.

The University of Missouri will hold the College of Arts & Science commencement May 16th starting at 6pm.

51 of Mizzou's outstanding Economics students are set to graduate in the 2026 year, marking an exciting milestone for the Department of Economics. This year’s graduating class represents dedication, resilience, and academic excellence across a wide range of interests and career paths.

Many of these graduates have earned multiple majors, reflecting their commitment to interdisciplinary learning and their drive to excel. Several students have already secured competitive job placements, graduate school admissions, and research opportunities that will carry them into the next chapter of their professional and academic journeys.

As we prepare to celebrate their achievements at commencement, we honor the hard work, curiosity, and Tiger spirit that brought them to this moment. These students have strengthened our department, enriched our campus community, and demonstrated what it means to be a Mizzou Tiger.

Health to thee—and congratulations on this remarkable accomplishment. M‑I‑Z!
