Pesko’s primary research focus is to identify casual effects of health policy changes using survey and administrative data sources. He has published 70+ peer-reviewed papers, including 20 e-cigarette policy evaluation papers. His research has been awarded over $7 million in funding to date and currently supports evaluating e-cigarette policies and health insurance mandates for hearing aids and cancer prevention/detection services. Dr. Pesko is the director of the Tobacco Online Policy Seminar and is also a member of the Canadian Scientific Advisory Board on Vaping Products.
