After graduating this semester with a double BS in economics and statistics and a minor in math, Samantha will join the Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis at West Point as a data analyst. OEMA is a Department of the Army research agency co-located with the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. OEMA is a highly expert, multidisciplinary innovation team of soldiers and civilians who teach, publish, and conduct disciplined inquiry to help senior leaders create the Army of tomorrow. In particular, OEMA conducts program evaluation, policy analysis, and problem-solving research to improve existing  Army programs and to deliver innovative new ones to the Army. As a data analyst, Samantha will work with Dr. Kyle Greenberg to assist in academic research in public and labor economics as well as policy briefs and reports for the Department of Defense.
