Dr. Sarah Parsons was surprised in class today by her colleagues from the Economics Department and awarded the Fall 2024 Jay and Lisa Nouss Award for Faculty Excellence in Teaching.  This $5,000 teaching award is made possible by a generous gift honor of the memory of Professor John Kuhlman who influenced thousands of students through his commitment to student success in Economics - “The Study of Truth”.  Sarah Parsons was selected by Mizzou Economics for this award in recognition of her efforts, designing and leading Econ 3251: Introduction to Applied Econometric Practice;  she consistently receives rave reviews from students and peer evaluators every semester.  Thank you to Jay and Lisa Nouss for making this recognition possible; and congratulations to Dr. Parsons!
