This semester, Mizzou Economics students Emily Karr and Kate Rohr received S.T.A.R. Recognition for participating in five professional-development activities (workshops, compliance training, advising) offered by the Office of Undergraduate Research. The Student Training for Advancing Research program was conceived to engage students in the high-impact practice of research, with workshop topics ranging from "Getting Started in Research," to responsible conduct of research, research-focused fellowships, discussions with alumni, and engagement with faculty researchers from across campus.
