Professor Zack Miller is the 2022-2023 winner of the $10,000 Tom and Vivian Hall Award for Faculty Excellence. Dr. Miller had seven articles on climate change, energy demand and time series methods published or accepted in the last two years, including several studies in high impact journals, such as Energy Economics and the Journal of Econometrics. Miller teaches doctoral courses and has been an active advisor to graduate students and undergraduate student groups, such as Phi Beta Kappa. Zack Miller recently completed a stint as faculty fellow in the Provost office and currently serves as Associate Chair of Economics. This award recognizes Zack Miller for his continuing excellence in research, service, and teaching.
