Saroj Dhital (PhD 2019) specialized in macroeconomics.  His advisor was Dr. Haslag, with whom he coauthored a research paper published in 2021 in the highly respected European Economic Review.  As a student, Saroj served as an instructor of several courses and as president of Mizzou's Nepalese Students Association.  Upon graduation, he became a tenure-track assistant professor at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.
