MU’s ODE hosts ‘Economics of Discrimination’ lecture
February 29, 2016
The MU chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international economics honors organization, hosted an academic lecture Thursday. The event featured professors Peter Mueser and Michael Minta from the departments of economics and political science, respectively.
The panel focused on the economics of discrimination — including the history of public policy interventions and the implications of long-term discrimination. Following the presentations, students raised questions and engaged in discussion with the presenters.
