Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Central is one of ten regional laboratories funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES). The REL collaborates with school districts, state departments of education, and other education stakeholders to help generate and apply evidence, with the goal of improving learning outcomes in seven Midwestern states (CO, KS, MO, NE, ND, SD, WY). As a member of the Governing Board, Koedel will provide strategic and technical guidance on REL work to maximize its efficacy.
