Xin Liu, a Ph.D. student in the department, has won the Winemiller Excellence Award this year for her research paper “Averaging Estimation for Instrumental Variable Quantile Regression". The Winemiller Excellence Award is an annual award made possible by the generosity of Mizzou graduate Albert (Bert) Winemiller Jr. (BA’64, MA’64 Statistics) to recognize excellence among students, faculty, and staff at Mizzou who have produced outstanding examples of data-based analytics in the preceding year.
