Peer Learning Assistants

Economics majors who have completed at least ECONOM 4351 and 4353 and have a GPA of 3.3 overall or 3.5 in Economics courses are eligible to apply. Students who have not yet taken ECONOM 4351 and 4353 may also be considered if they have demonstrated superior performance in the Economics courses they have taken. Peer Learning Assistants lead discussion/lab sessions, manage the grade book, answer student questions, hold office hours, and assist the professor with class. Tiger Tutors

Tiger Tutors are open to students who have completed ECONOM 1014, 1015, 3229, 4351, and 4353. Tiger Tutors are hired by the MU Learning Center. Apply through the MU Learning Center website. If you have questions, you may contact Caitlin Danborn.
