Please join Mizzou Economics in congratulating Dr. J. Isaac (Zack) Miller, who became Chair of the Department in July. Dr. Miller previously served as Associate Chair of the Department, Director of Undergraduate Studies, and a faculty fellow in both the College or Arts and Science and the Office of the Provost.
Dr. Miller is a Professor of Economics and an econometrician who specializes in time series analysis with applications to energy demand and climate change. His research has been published in Journal of Econometrics, Energy Economics, Econometric Reviews, Journal of Time Series Analysis, and other internationally respected journals. He has edited special issues on the econometrics analysis of energy markets and climate change in Journal of Econometrics, Energy Economics, and Environmetrics, and he serves as an associate editor of Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics. He joined the Department faculty in 2005.
