Congratulations to PhD student William Park on his recent tenure-track job offer from the University of Southern Mississippi!  Southern Miss is one of the "R1" universities classified in the very highest tier of research activity.  At Mizzou, William has specialized in macroeconomics for both his research and teaching, under the guidance of advisor Chao Gu.  William's research more specifically focuses on the role of money and credit in the economy, including his job market paper, "Private Money in a Dual Currency System: from the Experience of Somalia."  You can learn more about William on his website.
